About the Founder

Kate Bassey Founder, Katuricare Foundation | Social Impact Leader | Humanitarian Advocate

Kate Bassey is a dynamic social impact leader and the visionary founder of Katuricare Foundation—a youth-driven initiative dedicated to transforming lives through compassion, care, and sustainable community development. With nearly a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Kate combines academic insight, practical field expertise, and a deep humanitarian spirit in every initiative she champions.

Her journey into social impact began over ten years ago as a freelance community service provider. She later served as a program manager across various NGOs, where she designed and implemented programs focused on supporting underserved populations. Through these experiences, she laid the foundation for Katuricare Foundation, where her leadership continues to drive meaningful change.

Kate has also volunteered extensively in modernized care homes and community centers, gaining valuable hands-on experience in caregiving and social support services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is a certified Caregiver Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, and Humanitarian Service Provider—qualifications that underscore her commitment to holistic well-being and community empowerment.

Her work bridges the gap between local needs and global support, delivering sustainable impact in critical areas such as health, education, and social welfare.
